Cool Visual Traceroute Tool

Earlier today I found a link to a pretty cool new web tool. YouGetSignal has created a visual traceroute tool that overlays Google Maps.

There are several visual traceroute tools around already, and you can get the same information manually yourself, but it's still an interesting idea to have the trace on a Google Map. It's also a cool tool from an education perspective: traceroutes are always a little bit ambiguous to people who are just learning networking concepts, this tool makes it pretty easy to show how a single request gets bounced around the world.
